Help for Street Children in Calabar Municipality: A research was carried out 2014 on street children and young adults who roam around the streets of Calabar Municipality constituting nuisance and participating the criminal acts. Some key facts were derived from the pilot project tagged Help for Street Children/Youths. It is evident that, these children are vulnerable to various hazards including ritual killing.
The experiences of working with street children and possible strategies that can be applied are described in this article.
Teenage Pregnancy in Bakassi LGA: CCAPI is implementing a pilot project to provide Care and Support to young mothers and their children living in Bakassi LGA.This project is tagged Help for Teenage Mothers in Bakassi L.G.A. It also entails the sensitization on Sexual Harassment and Teenage Pregnancy. We are also considering empowering the young mothers with skills acquisition as a means of providing them with sustainable livelihood.
